Decipher Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Patrick as the Director of New Zealand’s Biological Heritage - Nga Koiora Tuku Iho - National Science Challenge.

The Biological Heritage National Science Challenge has a clear mission to reverse the decline of New Zealand’s biological heritage through a national partnership to deliver a step change in research innovation, globally leading technologies and community and sector action. The Challenge will create a strong legacy for Aotearoa.

Decipher Group worked in partnership with the Challenge governance group and host, Manaaki Whenua – Landcare Research, in an extensive executive search process for this critical leadership role. Daniel is a well-respected and highly experienced executive director who will bring the required passion and drive to lead the Challenge towards its goals.

Daniel started in the role in December 2020.
