Following the establishment of our Connetics 2020+ strategic framework, we partnered with Decipher Group on the recruitment process for a critical senior role that would build on the human potential within our enterprise, to effectively deliver on our strategic intent.
Connetics is a business with many complexities - we deliver multiple services, across different regions, to different customers, under different contracts, at different sites, utilising different people. The cornerstone of our organisational strategy is our human capability – we have a large amount of capability and potential within our business that can become trapped or limited, due to the way we work. This realisation ultimately led to the establishment of our Enterprise Human Potential team and the creation of the host role - Head of Human Potential.
Going to market with a ‘non-typical’ role required fresh thinking in terms of how we position the role to uncover the right candidate. Everything about this recruitment process was going to be unique – from a principles-based position description through to early candidate/client engagement and utilising the real value of cognitive and personality insights to inform decision-making.
We knew we couldn’t run a traditional recruitment process. We didn’t want to be ‘stuck in the mud’ of our own thinking and needed a recruitment consultancy that could translate what we had conceptualised and take to market an attractive value proposition for the role.
