Tasman Tanning South Island, part of the larger Tasman Tanning Group, is the leading processor of bovine hides in the South Island. An exciting business growth prospect and a change in the role of General Manager meant that they were looking for a talented, experienced, and agile leader ready for an exciting new challenge. Decipher Group were tasked with finding the perfect fit for their business.
The GM role reports to the TTSI Board and is accountable for TTSI’s performance, ensuring safe, quality, and profitable hide processing, as well as supporting the Board in strategy development and execution. Leading a team of technical and operational leaders, providing clear expectations and guidance, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and sustainability are foundational to this role. The GM is charged with driving operational excellence, process efficiency, and commercial performance, as well as developing and maintaining key customer relationships.
Brittany McCauslin was appointed to this GM role and joined the team in July 2024.
