Landpro are looking for a Survey Regional Lead who will support businesses growth and contribute at a strategic level all while mentoring the team and delivering major projects. Are you ready for the next step?

About the opportunity
Due to significant growth in major projects, Landpro is now seeking a Survey Regional Lead to take charge of the Cromwell / Wanaka region. Reporting to the National Surveyor Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the region’s success, contributing to strategic planning, mentoring and developing your team, and ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery. You will:
  • Provide strategic leadership in the region, supporting the growth of major projects and driving innovative survey solutions.
  • Lead a team of talented surveyors, fostering their professional development, mentoring junior staff, and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, balancing commercial and environmental considerations.
  • Work closely with clients, councils, and contractors to establish strong, lasting partnerships that enhance Landpro’s reputation in the industry.
  • Take full accountability for health and safety compliance, ensuring all projects adhere to legislative and company procedures.
About you
You are an experienced Licensed Surveyor with a proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects. In addition to your strong technical foundation in cadastral work, topographic surveys, and engineering design, you bring exceptional leadership and communication skills. You:
  • Have a strategic mindset, able to identify opportunities for growth and improvement across your region.
  • Are proficient in Landonline, 12D, AutoCAD, Pix4D, and Leica instruments, and have a deep understanding of regional and district council consent processes.
  • Are passionate about mentoring and developing others, creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful outcomes that meet both client expectations and financial targets.
  • Are committed to innovation and continuous improvement, aligning with Landpro’s vision to deliver better environments and better returns.
Above all else you truly understand the value of partnerships and are someone who knows how to nurture these. Are you ready to take on a leadership role?
