Feary Group
Operations Manager
  • Lead the operations for high performing delivery teams
  • Drive operational excellence to align with Feary Group's strategic objectives
  • Shape the success of complex, diverse earthworks and drainage projects
About Feary Group
Founded in 2016, Feary Group has gone from strength to strength and has become a leading reputable organisation. Through growth, reputation and demand Feary Group has evolved its services to manage drainage and earthworks all under one roof and specialise in residential, commercial, civil and rural sectors.

Family values are at the heart of Feary Group’s being, they are building a legacy for future generations. Their commitment to quality workmanship and long-term relationships are unwavering and that is what makes them the partner of choice.

As Feary Group continues to grow, we are seeking an Operations Manager who can act as a catalyst for growth, support organisational strategic goals, and lead a high performing team.

About the opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will hold accountability for the effective and efficient leadership across Feary Group, supporting operational and strategic goals. In doing this you will:
  • Mentor, grow and develop a high performing team of supervisors and project managers to align with objectives.
  • Oversee operations to maintain efficiency with oversight over the details of workflow.
  • Partner with the leadership team to develop and deliver long-term operational strategies.
  • Develop and secure partnerships with key stakeholders to support organisational growth.
  • Oversee budgets and financial metrics and make informed decisions and drive success.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and collaboration across the team.
About you
You are an operations expert with two plus years’ experience in a senior leadership role with sector experience. You are someone who naturally brings out the best in people; you know how to influence, motivate and drive success.

Your commercially savvy mind will mean you are someone who is on top of operational efficiency and can streamline where required. Coupled with commercials is your financial acumen, you are someone who can oversee budgets and identify where profitability can be capitalised on.

With your industry knowledge you will be a sounding board for the team to navigate projects, proactively mitigate risk and ensure that the Feary Group quality standard is maintained.

Above all else – you know how to have fun, you are a down to earth team player and someone who will naturally corral a team and project Feary Group into the future.

If you are someone who wants to be part of an organisation that is committed to their people, partners and quality projects then we would love to speak to you! Are you ready to take that step?
