About the opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, you will play a critical role in maximising financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving commercial initiatives that ensure long-term financial sustainability. An advisor to the Chief Executive, Board of Directors, and key stakeholders, you will provide insightful financial leadership and oversight across the organisation.

Core accountabilities with include:
  • People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and corporate services team.
  • Strategic Planning: Partner with the CE and Senior Leadership Team to shape long-term commercial strategies
  • Financial Strategy & Performance: Monitor financial performance, ensuring alignment with budgets and strategic goals.
  • Commercial Leadership: Lead key negotiations, tenders, and investment strategies to drive financial growth.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure financial governance, statutory compliance, and robust risk management practices.
  • Technology & Innovation: Champion financial systems and IT advancements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be an astute senior financial leader with a CA qualification, ideally at CFO level. Your ability to lead a high performing team will be demonstrated in your previous career success. A strong background within a commercial entity will be complimented by your strategic mindset and expertise within financial analysis, financial modelling and project delivery.

Your ability to lead business performance and continuous improvement will ensure an ability to provide innovation and solutions. With strong communication skills, your ability to challenge and influence positive outcomes will be critical. Being strongly team and relationship focused, your interactive style will emphasise integrity, collaboration, a commitment to upholding values and a drive for company success.
