Forté Health is a hospital specialising in short stay surgery, established to set a fresh benchmark for hospital and patient care in New Zealand through the implementation of a values-based healthcare model. It’s a fresh approach to medical care, delivered in New Zealand’s first net carbon zero hospital.

The three-story complex comprises a state-of-the-art five-theatre hospital, associated consulting practices and comprehensive support services tailored for both day clinic and surgical operations. This cutting-edge facility, operational since January 2014, has a unique ownership structure, with dedicated clinicians holding 50% ownership and Allevia Health the remaining 50%.

With a dedicated workforce comprising 230 skilled professionals, this facility is poised for significant expansion in the upcoming years. Plans include the development of a new building within the next three-four years. These strategic initiatives are expected to effectively double the hospital's current size, reinforcing its commitment to providing enhanced healthcare services and accommodating the growing needs of the community.
