About the opportunity
Reporting to the Trust Board and leading a team of passionate, high performers, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for providing strategic and visionary leadership to the organisation. Strong stakeholder engagement is a key component of this role, to ensure STOP secures the necessary funding and support to continue delivering its services. In an operational capacity, the CEO will oversee and drive operations to achieve their desired outcomes.

This role requires someone who has a strong and visionary leadership style as well as the intuition and empathy required to deliver services for the STOP business.  Is this you?

In taking on this role you will:
  • Strive to attain the vision of a community free from sexual abuse and work collaboratively to realise the core value of achieving clinical excellence
  • Possess a strong understanding of cultural diversity and needs
  • Lead and empower a high-performance team and ensure the culture supports the business strategy
  • Develop and implement strategic and operating plans that will see the continued development, relevance and growth of STOP into the future
  • Uphold the strong reputation of STOP, their vision and mahi
  • Strengthen strategic relationships with mana whenua
  • Fostering diversity and inclusion across the organisation
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and have held leadership roles ideally in the health sector. You will have a strong, confident and humble personality with exceptional communication skills coupled with the ability to influence and manage a variety of stakeholders. You will be able to build rapport and generate enduring strategic relationships to ensure STOP is able to continue delivering clinical success.  Your leadership capabilities from a people and organisational perspective will enable the business to move forward with a strong sense of collaboration, and team.
