We need a talented, credible and authentic executive to join this iconic New Zealand business - Is this you?

About you

To be successful as the General Manager Retail, you will have extensive executive leadership experience preferably within the retail and agriculture sectors or you may have held the role of Chief Executive within a smaller business.

Your affinity with agriculture means that you will know what our farmers and growers need and when they need it in order to make their own businesses flourish. A strong strategic thinker; you naturally keep a view on the future including market, product, economic and weather trends to ensure your business solutions and initiatives meet the needs of your customers in the medium and long term while achieving your business objectives.

You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification, have extensive experience in both sales and operational leadership and will have a passion for developing high performing teams and individuals. A natural collaborator and leader – both within an organisation and of the market externally - you understand the benefits of working alongside your colleagues and stakeholders to ensure material performance gains.

This is unquestionably an executive leadership role where your talented direct reports take operational accountability for the day to day delivery while you drive the bigger picture outcomes through intelligent, strategic leadership. Sound like you?
