Geovert works closely with its business partners through long-term trusted relationships to design, build and maintain infrastructure assets and facilities.
To support the growth of the Geovert group and to ensure that it can continue to be a leader in the provision of innovative construction solutions, achieving its strategic and commercial objectives, Geovert needs a talented, proactive and accountable CFO to join the Senior Management Team and lead the Corporate Services function. About the opportunity
Reporting to the Group CEO and acting as a key commercial advisor to the business; the CFO leads the Corporate Services function and takes overall accountability for the provision of expert commercial, financial, risk and technology advice and support to the Group. In doing this, the CFO will:
This is a vital role in enabling the CEO and other members of the Executive Team to focus on strategic outcomes and operational delivery; knowing that the advice, data and reporting provided by all areas of Corporate Services is on-point, valuable and proactively delivered.
About you
To be successful as the CFO, you will be a qualified accountant with strong and relevant commercial experience and a track record as a proactive advisor to executives. Broadly skilled and experienced, you will have ideally have worked with commercial contracts of scale, major procurement transactions and the management of capital structures. A keen eye for working capital management, you will be comfortable with this level of detail alongside major strategic concepts.
As you would have seen, your proactive nature is crucial to being able to deliver the service needed by the CEO and the Executive team and your ability to create strong working relationships internally and with stakeholders will be vital to your success. A capable people leader with a willingness to step up and take accountability for the whole coupled with your pragmatic and down-to-earth approach will set you apart as the right person for this role.
