About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Finance (based in Europe), the Assistant Accountant takes accountability for supporting the New Zealand based teams (Research and Development and the team of the CTO) from an accounting and administrative perspective. The Assistant Accountant will ensure the smooth running of the purchasing processes so that New Zealand based teams are provided with the tools they need to deliver on their respective accountabilities and will provide valuable reporting as requested. This is a vital position within Invert Robotics, and we need a self-motivated, proactive and energetic Assistant Accountant to join the team. Sound like you?
To be successful as the Assistant Accountant, you will have solid experience in accounts management and financial reporting and you will ideally hold an accounting qualification. Comfortable preparing GST and other taxation and compliance returns; you will also be able to demonstrate your capability in working with financial systems to deliver a range of reporting. With a focus on delivery and a strong, internal customer focus, you will take a ‘hands-on’ approach and be confident working independently from your manager.
