Decipher Group was engaged by Central Lakes Trust to assist in the appointment of an Independent Director onto Pioneer Energy’s board following the retirement of an incumbent.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jacqueline Cheyne.
Jackie is a professional director who currently chairs the Sustainability Committee for Stride Property Group, the Risk and Audit Committee for NZ Green Investment Finance and is a Board member of the External Reporting Board (XRB), where she chairs the steering group for the development of the NZ Climate Risk Disclosure standards. Jackie is also on the Board of PaySauce and is a Member of the FMA’s Audit Oversight Committee.
Jackie was previously a partner at Deloitte where she led a number of financial, emissions and sustainability related engagements in the energy sector, including being a past auditor of EFI (both financial and carbon assurance). Jackie led the Deloitte Sustainability service line for over 8 years where she led the first Toitu carbon zero certification for Meridian, the first GRI assurance engagement for a Big 4 in NZ and a number of ETS related engagements. Her experience at both NZ Green Investment Finance and Stride includes a number of joint venture and equity related investment and capital raising examples.
